Community Marketing Manager

Dormify is looking for a Community Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness and engagement through brand ambassadors, influencers and partnerships. You will also support the Dormify community through social media and on-site interactions. You are passionate about connecting college students and recent graduates to build a supportive community of brand advocates through projects and events in alignment with Dormify’s vision and values.

What you'll do:

  • Revamp and develop our Dormifam brand ambassador program, including recruiting and training a team of brand ambassadors to increase increase brand recognition among college students
  • Lead brand ambassador campaigns leveraged across multiple digital channels
  • Community Engagement: Manage daily interactions with brand ambassadors and community members on social media channels and Dormify.com
  • Own Influencer Marketing strategy, identifying the best influencers/creators to work with in each channel to reach goals for brand awareness, follower growth, engagement, customer acquisition and revenue
  • Manage Influencer budget and sourcing, outreach and contract negotiations, as well as usage rights with influencers/creators
  • Create influencer tracking parameters and reporting, analyzing the data to make informed decisions and to measure performance and ROI
  • Conduct competitive research, relevant industry trends and platforms
  • Develop marketing partnerships with brands to drive growth in social, email and on Dormify.com
  • Create plans for each partnership to connect with new customers and bring the Dormify brand to life through curated experiences
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, social and digital teams to flawlessly execute influencer, ambassador and partnership content

What you'll need:

  • 4-year degree in communications or marketing
  • Proven work experience as a community manager using community/forum management tools as well as social media platforms
  • Knowledge of, and interest in small space decor and the Dormify brand
  • Must enjoy working with others and making new connections
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrate strong ability to work independently
  • Strong proven track record of contract negotiation skills
  • You must be willing to respond to community members whenever necessary

Retention Marketing Manager

Dormify is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical and customer-centric marketer who will be responsible for executing, optimizing, and managing engagement and revenue growth across customer retention channels, including Email, SMS and Loyalty.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze and report on customer behavior, sales data and customer feedback to create strategies to drive retention and LTV
  • Lead and execute CRM by developing and driving lifecycle retention in Email, SMS and Loyalty (Refer a Friend) programs, including lead generation and marketing strategy
  • Manage briefing, creation (including copywriting), and execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns that deliver against business goals with segmentation that supports brand initiatives and launches
  • Ensure legal compliance (Can-SPAM, Canada restrictions)
  • Plan and run A/B tests within email and SMS to improve growth and retention and to optimize channel messaging
  • Maximize Email, SMS and Refer a Friend platforms to ensure we are utilizing their capabilities
  • Forecast, prepare and manage the financial objectives for retention programs
  • Keep abreast of market, consumer trends and competition
  • Share and apply customer insights cross-functionally with site, marketing, product, customer experience and ops teams to create a best-in-class user journey

What you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years experience in the eCommerce marketing (Email and SMS)
  • Track record of demonstrable business results through testing and deploying effective marketing campaigns across different channels
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a team to concept, build, execute, and report on campaigns across multiple channels
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to details with swift execution
  • Self-starting attitude, ready to embrace opportunities to make an impact without needing to be told
  • Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities
  • Experience with A/B testing, messaging, and post-campaign analysis
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools and Google Analytics (experience with Zaius, Attentive and Shopify is a plus)

Customer Experience Associate

You will be our customer service extraordinaire, responsible for virtually interfacing with our Dormify.com customers beginning with their pre-purchase styling requests through post-purchase order management. Clear communication skills, close attention to detail, investigative problem solving, the ability to strategically think on your feet, high levels of empathy, and a creative eye are key success factors for this role.

What you'll do:

  • Work directly with customers and deliver above-and-beyond service through email, phone, live chat, text, and social channels
  • Learn and work under the Dormify style philosophy as well as develop a clear understanding of all product lines and policies inside and out. You’ll speak our language in no time!
  • Offer advice and ideas on small space style and college life to our audiences in creative ways
  • Respond promptly to customer outreach and resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently
  • Document returns and exchanges properly for accurate record keeping
  • Be the voice of the customer by relaying relevant information and feedback internally to cross-departmental teams
  • Collaborate with our product vendors, fulfillment center, and cross-departmental teams to guarantee all aspects of the customer experience and transaction are handled properly
  • Ensure that you meet or exceed all KPI’s established for the team (i.e. Reply Time SLA’s, CSAT, etc)

  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in customer service, retail, account management, sales, or interior design

Art Director

Dormify is actively seeking a passionate and imaginative Art Director and Designer to lead our Creative team. The Art Director is responsible for the development and execution of all creative aspects of the Dormify brand. This position is responsible for bringing innovative and compelling Creative across all channels, and will work collaboratively and cross-functionally. Our ideal candidate will inspire us with new ideas on how to grow our brand presence. This is a hands on role which will require the need for individual creative development as well as managing and mentoring the Creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of styling, brand design, a passion for storytelling and close attention to detail. Ability to produce high volume of assets efficiently, while reacting to trends and helping to continually evolve and elevate the brand’s aesthetics are key.

What you'll do:

  • This role is 50% conceptual and 50% executional
  • Build, mentor, and lead multi-functional creative team and external agency partners
  • Create consistent end-to-end brand experience across multiple touchpoints, including: web, email, social and paid experiences, packaging, brand photography, print collateral, and retail store design and visuals
  • Create and direct thoughtful evergreen and seasonal marketing campaigns and execute across print, video, digital, and social platforms for Dormify.com and Dormify Pop Up Shops that ladder up to marketing and business goals
  • Direct all phases of design execution, revisions, mechanical production, and artwork release
  • Own production of all creative assets including photoshoots and video production
  • Oversee all copy, photography, final printing and proofing processes; all packaging design and development in collaboration with CBO
  • Support the product development team on trends, color theory, typography and overall design for product design in all categories, particularly wall decor and accessories
  • Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional team members (Marketing, Product Development, Retail, etc.), and provide leadership and creative solutions with enthusiastic, flexible, and positive attitude
  • Familiarize yourself with and stay in the know on cultural and social trends, especially on TikTok!

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in an art direction and design role in e-commerce, at an agency or an in-house brand creative team. Experience managing designers and copywriters required
  • Strong portfolio with branding and interactive projects, including social media
  • Passion for photography
  • Experience working collaboratively with all levels of designers and copywriters
  • Highly motivated to produce excellent creative for various touchpoints
  • An innovative approach to design
  • Superior conceptual thinking skills in both visual and interaction design
  • Ability to produce high volume of assets efficiently
  • A refined sensibility to color, composition, typography, and iconography
